‘Muscle, joint, and nerve problems'

Musculoskeletal disorders are injuries or disorders of the bones, muscles, joints, nerves, tendons, cartilages, and spinal discs. Musculoskeletal conditions range from those that arise suddenly and are short-lived, such as fractures, sprains and strains, to lifelong conditions associated with ongoing functioning limitations and disability.

According to a report, around 1 in 3 people in Australia have some form of musculoskeletal condition. Chiropractic and acupuncture treatments are well known to be effective in management of musculoskeletal symptoms. Both the chiropractic and acupuncture care involve not only spine related disorders but also peripheral joints such as wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and foot.

The human body is an extremely complex structure and there is no golden key that opens every door. This means, as our body reacts and responds to a variety of therapeutic stimulations, combined treatment of chiropractic, acupuncture, and soft-tissue manipulation would provide a diverse range of stimuli that our body requires in order to restore itself to a healthy state.
